Who we are
Biro is operated by Biro Works (the "we"). The legal entity behind it is registered in Europe; full registration details are available on request. The data controller for biro.works is hello@biro.works.
What we collect
- Anonymous analytics. If you accept the analytics consent banner, we collect anonymized page views, referrer, country, and device type via Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2 and IP anonymization. If you decline, no analytics fire.
- Contact form submissions. Name, email, optional company name, the topic you selected, and the message you wrote. Submissions are sent to our inbox via Amazon SES; we don't store them in any other system.
What we don't do
- We don't run remarketing or ad tags (no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight, no Google Ads).
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties.
- We don't fingerprint visitors or use third-party cookies for tracking.
Your rights
Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and LGPD (Brazil) you can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Email hello@biro.works and we'll reply within 30 days, usually within one working day.
You can also withdraw analytics consent at any time using the "Privacy preferences" link in the footer.
Retention
Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Contact form submissions are retained in our inbox until they're no longer relevant to a project, then deleted on request.
