§ ABOUT
A small team that stays.
Biro is built around a simple proposition: senior engineers handling the work that keeps websites usable and online for years, not weeks.
Who we are.
Biro is a small senior team. Engineering-led, opinionated where it matters. We build, host, and maintain websites for agencies and growing businesses, primarily in the United States. We work the way we wish other agencies and freelancers worked: clear scope, fast replies, and a long horizon.
We've migrated sites stuck on dying CMSes, taken over from freelancers who disappeared, and kept hosting bills predictable while uptime stays uneventful. That's the work.
The long view, in practice: most of a website's life is after launch. The senior who quoted you stays on the project. Care plans ramp without a re-onboarding fee. The boring middle · updates, backups, security, browser drift · gets the same care as the launch week.
We grow horizontally.
A small team works only if it stays small. As Biro grows, the team on your project doesn't.
We add capacity the way good infrastructure does: horizontally. New work goes to new small senior teams. Yours stays the team you started with. Same names on the project, same context across years, same response time as the week you signed.
The dedication and knowledge of a small studio, with the depth of a much larger company standing behind it.
A few things we think.
-
01
A website build is a transaction. Maintenance is a relationship.
-
02
Hosting is recurring leverage. For both sides.
-
03
You should never have to chase the people you pay to keep your site online.
